The Gooch on Dubs!

bucho @ 12:48 pm Monday, January 30th, 2006

Finally, I purchased a new car, but I failed to get rid of my other four. So, welcome number five…

Dubs

I wanted an Audi TT, but a decided to save a few thousand and purchase a used Red 2005 Ford Mustang with chrome 20″ rims. I was never a Mustang guy, but I love this car.

To break in my new whip I decided a day trip to San Francisco was in order. Our first stop was the Sony Metreon.

It is an impressive builing with very modern architecture… very well done. (more…)

Does This Vagina Make My Ass Look Fat?

bucho @ 9:15 pm Friday, January 27th, 2006

No! It’s your bleached anus that makes your ass look fat.

Bad Comic

Ok, so that is a really bad comic (thanks to Bob Online which you have to visit to play the games), but it was that or something medically pornographic…

Regina Lynn of Wired News wrote an interesting article on plastic surgery in regards to genitals. It’s a serious article written in a humorous way.

And cosmetic genital surgery is not OK with me. I don’t care if porn star pussies make you feel bad about your labia minora, which leads to a loss of your self-esteem. That’s too damned bad. Go to Ghana where girls routinely suffer having their clitorises cut off and their labia sewn shut, only to be sliced open by their husbands when it’s time for him to have sex.

Penguin Waddle 2

The Kurz Research Group is doing some very interesting testing.

Our experiments will provided insight on how penguins are able to use side-to-side motion for stability and how they harvest the mechanical energy from the waddling pattern. Based on our insights, we are developing new biotechnologies that will allow humans to use similar locomotive strategies to harvest the mechanical energy in the locomotive pattern and ensure stability.

This seems a bit silly, but who knows they may eliminate the need for the “I’ve fallen and I can’t get up” lady.

Beads 2

The is cool in a really weird way.

Imagine a TV remote control combined with beads. You can do much better than pressing buttons, switching channels in hope to find something interesting. Shape your habitual time-spending in unusual form.

Optimus OLED Keyboards

bucho @ 9:59 am Saturday, January 14th, 2006

Optimus Full

Optimus Close

I was first introduced to this keyboard close to a year ago. It uses OLED technology to create the best advancement in keyboards in a long time. Every key on this piece of technological art has it’s very own customizable OLED display. When exactly this keyboard is going to be released is still a bit of a mystery. However, they now have a new product that is based on the above design.
Optimus Three

It appears that the above Optimus Mini Three OLED keyboard may be released early next month since the keyboard web page states “Look out for news February 1 on the main page” and the main page states “Good Things Come in Small Packages February 1, 2006.” Perhaps this product is to test the market before they release the full size keyboard. Needless to say, I for one am purchasing both of these as soon as they are released.

Revolution

For those that are interested, IGN just published screen shots of Nintendo’s online version of Xbox Live for the Revolution console. Check them out here. It looks like a really cool start. Nintendo will definately have to increase the game list for this to be popular.

DualCor cPC

HandTop PC

When I first read about this product I thought it was just another PDA/Personnal Media Device that was a waste of time. Looking further into it, it looks like DualCor is taking PDAs into a better direction. This device seems to have integrated a PDA, desktop computer, personnal media device, and a cell phone all in one unit. If you look at this as a cell phone, well it is extremely bulky and the shape is unappealing. You would need to have a headset to use this as a cell phone regularly. It runs off of Windows XP Tablet PC or Windows Mobile 5.0. The really cool thing about this device is that it has 3 USB 2.0 ports (2 type A and 1 type B) and a mini VGA port. So, this device conviently transfors from PDA to cell phone to desktop PC with no problem. There are not very detailed specs that I can find right now but it does boast a 40 GB hard drive, 1 GB DDR2 RAM, 1 GB NAND flash memory, hundreds of hours of standby time, 3 to 8 hours of continuous use, built in speaker and mic, a 5″ 800 x 480 touch screen, and a compact flash type II port. I could not find out what processor it uses. Anyway, this is something you should check out.

MoGo mouse

bucho @ 7:33 am Tuesday, January 3rd, 2006

Welcome to 2006. I thought this was very cool for those that use laptops.

MoGo MouseBT is a business-card sized, Bluetooth-enabled mouse that stores and recharges neatly inside…that’s right, inside…your laptop computer’s PC card slot when it’s not being used. MoGo MouseBT is a technologically advanced wonder, featuring patent-pending optics and a system that automatically levers the mouse up into your hand as you work. With no batteries to replace, the MoGo MouseBT recharges in less than an hour in the PC card slot of your laptop.
