What the heck! People can actually buy penguins and have them as pets? This seems like a bad idea but I am not sure why.

I can barely keep my plants alive. If it stays with me then you can count on having Penguin stew in the future.
Is buying a penguin even legal? I thought that having wild or exotic pets was illegal in CA.
