Today I watched my femur disconnect from my tibia! Not a fun experience and it caused me to fall to the ground with a bad knee pain. I don’t know if disconnect is the right word, but the bones popped out of place and then when I was falling everything popped back into place. I am feeling pretty lucky that none of the ligaments tore, the pain is mild, and my walk is only a little gimpy, but I need to see another doctor to make sure its okay. This puts a cramp into this getting back into shape thing I’ve been working on, but hopefully not a cramp into the hike to Half Dome that I have planned in a couple of weeks.

I think because of how my knee was twisted the bone was able to slide by the MCL or something.
