Krugle.com Is Here
Scott Rippee @ 10:17 pm June 19th, 2006Krugle.com has opened its doors. They opened shop on the 14th of this month (June 2006). This site is really cool. I’ve already put it to use a few times to get examples of how some libraries are used. The interface is amazing. Its fast, clean, and puts a whole lot of information at your finger tips. I really like the project view, where you can see all of the source code that belongs to a project. This really fills that gap of finding a bunch of examples of what you want to do, but not being able to get a hold of the glue that holds it all together. Krugle gives you that glue and more.. Eat up. :)
The only thing that I am not really digging is that the URL is fixed. Everything action you do seems to do AJAXy stuff and you never get a page reload or a hard link (URL) to what you are seeing at the moment.

Hi Scott,
You’re right that we don’t yet have external URLs to all of the content that’s available at Krugle.
But you can get URLs to files and project descriptions. Right-click on the file or project name that’s at the far left in the infobar at the top of a pane - you should be able to copy the URL. For example, http://www.krugle.com/files/svn/svn.valgrind.org/valgrind/memcheck/tests/wrap8.c is a URL to a random source file. It currently opens a stand-alone window, but you can click in the “krugle” logo to get back to the main Krugle search environment.
