MSN TV Linux cluster
Scott Rippee @ 12:58 am February 13th, 2006With some hardware and bios mods to a MSN TV box it is good to go for running Linux and possibly creating an awesome cluster. These things are somewhat reasonablly priced and will get you a 733mhz 256kb cache with 128mb ram. They could definately be useful for playing around with distributed computing software/coding. I wonder what Microsoft would think if they started selling a bunch of these things to people using them to make Linux clusters? Probably just $.

I don’t know why that makes me so happy, but it always does to have Linux running on “Microsoft” hardware.
My friend and I just laugh ourselves silly whenever we play his modded x-box running Linux.
Guess you’d have to be there….
