There’s always an incoming stream of WordPress security updates and I like to make the “sad face” and whine a little when its time. I also have customizations to some of the include files, but this is not quite as annoying since I’ve made patches. It would be great if someone added a feature in admin to fetch and install the update and any custom patches. This is a good idea for a plugin, however, with autoupdating comes complexity and problems.
